Inspiring Immigrant Women for a Brighter Future Talk Series

November 30, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Each month NAM will feature the inspiring insights and contributions of a different immigrant woman. Speakers will talk about their achievements and journeys as immigrants. The dialogue is intended to inspire and motivate other women to seek a brighter future.

November 30th’s speaker will be Ms. May Alkhalaf one of the organizers of the “Spirit of Syria”, a non-profit cultural event dedicated to raising funds to support the Syrian refugees in San Diego to help rebuild their lives and become well-integrated and productive members of the community. May is also a regular volunteer at the Bread of Life Rescue Mission which focuses on serving the Poor, Hungry and Homeless in North San Diego County.
